LCFS

California’s LCFS program is designed to encourage the use and production of cleaner low-carbon transportation fuels in California. The program goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector.

LCFS credits are generated when the carbon intensity of a fuel generated within the state creates a deficit to the standard carbon intensity of the fuel pathway. Compliance entities meet their obligation by ensuring the number of LCFS credits it earns, or otherwise acquire, from another party is equal to or greater than the deficits it has incurred.

Generating LCFS Credits — Electric Forklifts & Electric Cargo Handling Equipment

AQC helps facilities monetize the clean energy used by electric forklifts
and other electric cargo handling equipment (eCHE) under California’s LCFS
program. If your operation charges electric forklifts, pallet jacks,
reach stackers, or similar equipment at a California facility, you may be
eligible to generate and sell LCFS credits — and the process is simpler
than most clients expect.

AQC manages the entire program on your behalf:

Enroll your facility and equipment under the correct LCFS pathway
Track and report quarterly electricity consumption to CARB
Sell credits on your behalf and remit proceeds
Generate LCFS credits based on verified charging data
